We do not recommend sizing up.The sleep bagshould be well-fitted around your child's upper body for a safe and secure fit. We recommend using our sizing guidelines to determine the correct size based on your child's age, height, and weight. Your baby should not be below the minimum recommended weight.
What is a baby sleep bag or sack?
A baby sleep bag, also called a wearable blanket or sleep sack, is a bag-like garment or covering worn by infants for sleeping. It replacing loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby's face and interfere with breathing.
Since 2005, The American Academy of Pediatrics has recommended the use of wearable blankets for safe sleep. Unlike regular blankets, a wearable blanket or sleep sack is worn over your child's sleepwear, so it won't be kicked off and baby stays covered all night. The sleep bag will become part of your child's bedtime routine, providing a sense of security and comfort.
What is the TOG rating of your sleep bags? Are they winter or summer weight?
Our 4 Season baby sleeping bags are designed to be worn year round. They are made from 100% natural breathable fibers and contain NO synthetic filling. Therefore, they do not have a fixed TOG. The fine merino wool lining helps naturally in regulating baby’s body temperature, keeping baby warm in winter and cool in summer.
Woolino sleep bags are recommended to be used in room temperatures 63-75F (17-24C). Simply adjust the layers of sleepwear worn under the sleeping bag to suit the nursery temperature. You can find our suggested dressing guidelines on the back of the room thermometer that comes with every baby sleep bag.
What is the difference between Woolino Ultimate (universal size) and Woolino Basic Baby Sleep Bags?
Both collections have same weight fabrics, merino wool lining and organic cotton outer. The differences are:
Woolino 4 Season Ultimate Baby Sleep Bag has universal sizing: 2m-2yr, underarm snaps for adjusting the size of the armholes, travel slots for use in car seats, strollers, bouncers etc., & both shoulder snaps.
Woolino 4 Season Basic Sleep Bag has simpler design: no snaps and no travel slots; it comes in traditional sizes: 0-6, 6-18, 18-36 months.
Woolino sleep bags sizing chart?
We do not recommend sizing up.The sleep bagshould be well-fitted around your child's upper body for a safe and secure fit. We suggest using our recommended sizing guidelines to find the correct size based on your child's age, height, and weight.
When can my baby start using Woolino Ultimate Baby Sleep Bags in size 2m-2yr? How long will my baby fit in this Woolino sleeping bag?
Woolino Ultimate Baby Sleep Bags provide an excellent value as they are designed to fit an average size baby from about 2 months up to 2 years of age. You may start using your sleeping bag when you feel your baby is too big to be swaddled and is breaking out of it. Please use the under-arms snaps to adjust the fit for smaller babies. Our minimum recommended weight is 10lb. or 4.5 kg.
When should I use the under-arm adjustment system?
In general, you need to use the under-arm snaps for babies up to 6 months old. However, this depends on baby’s size, so for smaller babies you may have to use them longer. Please keep in mind that the underarm snaps are to be used for safety reasons, so that the sleep bag fits snugly around baby’s upper body and doesn’t climb up baby’s face.
Do I need more than one Woolino sleeping bag?
Yes, we recommend having two Woolino baby sleeping bags. It is always useful to have a spare sleep bag when one is being washed, to keep at grandparents' place or if baby requires a quick change in the middle of the night. Please enter code BOGO20 at checkout to receive our buy one item, get one item 20% off promotion. This promotion cannot be combined with any other offer.
Won’t wool itch my baby’s skin?
Absolutely not. We use only superfine merino wool, which unlike the traditional wool, feels like silk against baby’s delicate skin. In fact, because of its softness and unique breathability, it is perfect for helping treating conditions such as heat rash and eczema.
Isn’t merino wool too hot for warm temperatures/climates?
Our merino wool baby sleeping bags are perfect for year-round wear in nurseries with room temperatures 63-75F (17-24C). Simply adjust the layers of underwear or sleepwear worn beneath the sack to suit the room temperature. Merino creates a micro-climate around your baby’s body, gaining or losing heat as required to produce warmth in cool conditions and enhance cooling effects in warm conditions.
What should my baby wear when sleeping in a Woolino 4 Season Sleep Bag?
We recommend sleepwear made of natural and breathable fabrics like cotton or merino wool. Please refer to the dressing guide we provide (also on back of your Woolino room thermometer) as general recommendations on how to dress your baby depending on the room temperature. Woolino pajamas are ideal for layering or to wear inside a Woolino sleep bag. The temperature in most rooms will rise and fall throughout the night, and the merino fiber has the remarkable ability to regulate your baby's body temperature.
How do I know if my child is hot or cold?
Please check if your baby is hot or cold while sleeping by touching her tummy or behind her neck. Touching baby’s hands and feet are not good indications of their actual body temperature.
Why don’t the sleeping bags have sleeves? Won’t my child get cold?
Our baby sleeping bags are sleeveless to ensure air circulation around baby’s chest. Babies that sleep with traditional sheets and blankets rarely sleep with their arms underneath the blankets. We recommend layering under-garments to ensure your child is perfectly comfortable in their sleeping environment. It is normal for babies to have cold hands and feet due to their still-developing circulation systems and it is not an indication that they are cold. Checking behind baby’s neck or his/her tummy will give you better indication of baby’s body temperature.
Does the sleep bag need to be washed before the first use?
It is not required to wash your Woolino sleep bag before wearing. When you wash it, please follow the care instructions carefully.
Why does wool smell when it gets wet?
There is an odor associated with wet wool, sometimes described as a "wet dog", "burned", or "perm" smell. This particular smell of wet wool is present because we use natural merino wool that has been minimally processed in order to preserve the lanolin content inside the wool.
Lanolin is naturally present in merino wool and is responsible for giving wool all of the great properties that we love: wicks away sweat, resists stains, feels soft to the touch, stays elastic, and resists bacteria and odors. Wool is a natural product. Even if you have multiple products, one may have a higher lanolin content than the other, accounting for a difference in smell.
You should not notice this smell at all when the product is completely dry. Over time, the smell will be less and less noticeable after washing as the lanolin content in the wool dissipates.
How should I care for my Woolino sleep bag?
Merino wool by nature is self-cleaning and does not need to be washed as frequently as other fabrics. To refresh and reduce washing, air the garment often.
Machine wash: Close zipper. Wash on Low, 85°F /30°C max
Use wool or mild detergent.
Line-dry clothing and blankets. Sleep bags can be tumble dried on No Heat or Air Dry settings.
How to remove stains from wool?
Stains should be treated immediately. Do not apply any form of heat, as this tends to fix most stains making them more difficult to remove. Rinse the stain immediately and thoroughly in cold water. Then, apply one of these two homemade stain remover mixtures that we recommend:
The preferred option is a mixture of liquid laundry detergent and a few drops of white vinegar. Cover the stain with the mixture and allow the liquid to sit on the stain for at least an hour. Blot the stained area gently with a cloth before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if necessary.
Another option is a mixture of one part (1 Tsp) dish soap and two parts (2 Tsp) Hydrogen Peroxide (3%). Apply some of the mixture over the stain and let it sit for several hours. Wash afterwards as usual.
When ready to wash, check the product care tag for best results. Following our recommended care instructions will ensure the best possible wear while maintaining & prolonging the life of your Woolino.

Love the fabric, pattern and softness of the sleep walker. I just wish the legs were slightly tighter so they didn’t fall off all the time when she’s walking and trip
Grace M.5/5Verified
Love the Woolino sleep sack! It’s soft, well-made, and keeps my baby comfortable without overheating. Expensive upfront, but worth it since it lasts for years.
Irem A.5/5Verified
We love it! The materials are so soft and you can tell it regulates their temperature!
He sleeps very comfy.
The only thing that could be better are the leg opening…they should be tighter…his feet get trapped inside the sleep sack while he’s still running around and he usually falls or gets upset about it!
Other than that, it’s a great item!
Camila V.4/5
My 13 month old loves this sleep sack. It gives him more freedom to move while he is sleeping and has given us more hours of sleep!
Allison C.5/5Verified
Very soft. Will order more.

LOVE Woolino’s products! My 3rd time purchasing items for my son!
Wool works magic for him from birth!
He has slept in cotton once in 5.5 month when all his wool pajamas were dirty but never again. Worst night sleep, sweating and uncomfortable.
Ildy M.5/5Verified
These are just so adorable. I was needed to upgrade my boys sleep sake to a larger size, but since they were walking I wanted to make it safer. These are exactly what I wanted. I looked at other sleep sacks with feet but they seemed tight and not like the original sleep sacks. This one is big and more blanket like. The boys seem to be enjoying them!
Nichole C.5/5Verified
We previously have had the 4 seasons sleep sack, and now that she’s older, we upgraded to the feet sleeper. We got it at a perfect time as she was battling the flu, we did not want to overheat her with clothing but we also wanted to make sure she was covered for sleeping so this was definitely worth the purchase!
Kimberly E.5/5Verified
Amazing! Only brand I wana use for him for sleep stuff!
Ildy M.5/5Verified
Love how cozy these are and the quality is amazing the zippers feel strong!! I can tell babies are sleeping better.
Elle J.5/5Verified
We’ve spent easily over $1,000 in 14 months on sleep bags, sleep sacks and swaddles. I was buying “high quality” products but I’ve had my eye on a Woolino the entire time I just didn’t want to pull the trigger on the higher price tag. Realistically this product was only about $30 more than what I had been spending per sleep bag. First night with it on last night and she finally slept the entire night without waking up…….miracle product!!
Sarah M.5/5
My girl loves grabbing at her feet at night so we love the design of this sack. We also have the regular sack which has been our go-to since we stopped swaddling. Great products!
Natalie S.5/5Verified
Perfect! Keeps my daughter warm and cozy at night. Feet being out hasn’t been a problem, and her tootsies never feel cold when I get her up in the morning! Wish I would’ve gotten it sooner
Caroline B.5/5Verified
The best! We went from the all season sleep sacks to the one with feet since he is very mobile now. He loves his woolino sleep sacks. They are truly the BEST!!
Daniela C.5/5Verified
Hands down the best sleep sack! Love that it will fit from 6-18 months. This is our third in the same style. They wash beautifully and are the best quality. So impressed. Our baby loves to roll and having his feet out is clutch. Also so great that it’s wool and made for year round use! They are an investment but since you don’t need to buy multiple in the next size - so worth it!
Alexandra F.5/5Verified
I love this product because I know my baby is staying warm and I don’t feel like I *need* to go readjust her blankets during the night, even in winter months
Maya C.5/5Verified
Very snuggly, cozy and warm for our 7 month old boy. I do think it helped him to sleep more comfortably. Hoping to buy more for when it's in the wash.
Natalie R.5/5Verified
This time of year we have significant swings in weather temperature- both my 18 month old (pictured) and 3 year old slept a full 12 hours last night and I have no doubt it’s because they both were comfortable all night in their footie sleep sacks! Will be purchasing another set for each!
Jennifer M.5/5Verified
baby loves it! stays a perfect temp. only thing is that it smells a bit "wooly" (to be expected) so you'll want to let it air out for a while after washing.
Alexis M.5/5Verified
My son sleeps deeper and longer with his Woolino sack. He looks like a cute little blob! It’s incredibly soft, and it’s thick without being heavy. The only thing that would make this item better are little convertible flaps for the feet. Sometimes my son is wearing clothes without feet, and while we could add socks, he just kicks those off within minutes every time.
We love it. We’ll be getting a second one for sure!
Christopher S.5/5Verified
Unfortunately this sleep sack was NOT the magic key to my LO sleeping through the night. But giving it a high rating because it is SO soft and high quality. He’s definitely cozy and I’m going to use it when we go camping next month. Love that he can still stand up in his crib and isn’t tripping in a regular sack.
Joyce K.5/5Verified
Baby loves it!
Ciprian M.5/5Verified
Very soft! Runs a little big for my 8 months but shes on the smaller side, nice quality, we can use for a long time👍👍
Ya Z.5/5Verified
I definitely recommend buying it. First of all, the fabric is very nice and soft, my son loved it very much, and now I am very comfortable when I put him to bed because he has a sleeping friend that keeps him warm. Thank you woolino, it's good that you exist.❤️
Cansu Y.5/5Verified
The quality and comfort of the fabric is incredibly natural and very healthy because it is made of wool 🤩♥️ A footed sleeping bag that I wear while my daughter sleeps comfortably💕🌺
Busra B.5/5Verified
Fits perfectly!! I've always loved their sleeping bags and our daughter can stand now and she's tripping on the bags!! The footsies are perfect! I'm so happy they ship to Canada. Love your products!!
Andy L.5/5Verified
Worth the money! Plus I can use it year round, until he’s 18 m !!! That’s amazing. I will be buying more!
Abigail C.5/5Verified
My 2.5 yr old was super excited about a glow in the dark sleep sack! I was a bit worried that perhaps it would keep him awake in a distracting way, but I never had an issue with it. It has helped me a couple of times while putting him to bed, I could see he wasn’t laying down.
The materials are so fine. The glow drawing does have a slight texture but the cotton is soft as butter. The merino wool is likewise and a beautiful lighter pine green color. The designs are engaging, but the thing my son loves the most is that the sac has feet and he can move with ease. He doesn’t sleep in a crib. It is fairly simple to open and remove for night time toilet visits too.
We are both super happy with this product. This product has absolutely increased sleep quality for our son and the family. And provided a level of temperature consistency that blankets in a drafty house could not.

I just received the sleep sack with feet for my 15 month old daughter. The quality seems nice and design is as expected. We live in Michigan and compared to the rest of our house, my daughter's room is always so cold during the winter months but she runs on the hot side so I've been torn about how to dress her for bed. I came across a reddit thread (not typically where I seek out advice lol) where a few people recommended Woolino which led me to do some more research. I debated for a while because of the high price but read enough positive reviews (on Wollino site and on Amazon) that I finally decided to order one and give it a try. My daughter has only worn it for two nights so far, so I can't say for sure if it's the sleep sack versus a coincidence, but she slept till almost 8am both mornings she wore it which is an hour later than usual! I'm hoping that continues! She weighs 21.5 lbs and is 31.5 in long. I ordered size 6-18 months. While it's pretty big on her, it's not TOO big, and I think she will be able to get use out of it for many months to come- likely well beyond when she actually turns 18 months old. Will continue to try it out for a few more weeks before I decide if it's worth buying another or not though due to cost.

We have used Woolino infant bags for the first 18 months and recently transitioned to the toddler sleepbag for my 20 month old. We tried other sleepbags but the temperature regulation that comes with Woolino has no match. My daughter loves it and I love the comfort of knowing she’s comfortable throughout the night.
Fatima A.5/5Verified
We love it! My sons wear it every night. This is the 3rd one we have bought!
Worth the $
Hei Man T.5/5Verified
Overall works pretty well as the baby sleeper I used to have. However, it could be better if the leg opening could be a bit tighter (my baby always have her foot slide inside)
Zixin Z.4/5Verified
Both legs can move freely
Qi Z.5/5Verified
Bought this sleep suit in size 6-18 months for our 5 month old who has already been in 6-9 month clothes for quite some time and it fits great with plenty of room to grow! He loves it and his temperature stays regulated all night! I was constantly changing the thermostat and turning his fan on and off before depending on how the temp was varying throughout the night. We LOVE that he can have his feet out, allowing him more freedom to move around, cause if this little boy is restricted by a sleep sack and can’t get twisted into a pretzel, he’s not sleeping! Buying a second now for backup.
Charley H.5/5Verified
My six month old swims in this but I’m glad she’ll be able to wear it for a long time! She stays cozy in our room through temperature fluctuations. The footie sleep sack is super cute and it’s worth taking a little extra care to preserve the wool and its qualities.

My 2 year old (28 months) has always loved his sleep suit! When it was time to get a "big kid" one, I wanted to be more mindful of the fabric since he sleeps in it 12 hours a day. This was a great find for us! He loves having his feet out. I'm sure he will be wearing this for a long time 🙂
Autumn K.5/5Verified
Let me start by saying I love this sleep sack and Woolino products in general. They are well made and have excellent attention to detail in design. We also have the 4-season ultimate and decided to get one with feet for our newly mobile baby. My only complaint is that the sizing is 6-18 months, but still very large on my 11 month old. While I appreciate the wide size range so I can use the pajamas longer, it would be nice to have a slightly smaller option because my baby’s legs disappear inside this one almost immediately and I might as well just use my sleep sack without feet.
Tara H.4/5Verified
My little baby loves his new woolino!
Jinyoung C.5/5Verified
I love Woolen sleep suite! The material is soft and warm. It is spacious so the little one could move around. Very happy with this purchase.
